Service
Dropwatch monitors AutoTrader.ca or AutoHebdo URLs you provide and emails you when we detect an asking-price decrease. We are independent of AutoTrader.ca, AutoHebdo, and Trader Corporation.
- Shopper watch — $29 CAD once, 90 days: one URL. Listing pages (
/offers/,/annonces/) watch that unit. Search pages (/cars/,/autos/) watch the lowest asking price on that results page (SERP min-price), not a single SKU. Search watches are shopper-only. - Dealer watch — $79 CAD per month: used-car shops subscribe (cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal) and watch 1–3 competitor lots. Paste a dealer-inventory URL (
/dealers/,/concessionnaires/, or/cars///autos/pinned to one dealer) or any listing (/offers/,/annonces/) from that lot — we resolve it to the whole stock. A private-seller ad or a generic Search SERP is not accepted on the dealer plan.
No guarantees
We parse publicly available listing data. Prices may be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable if AutoTrader.ca or AutoHebdo changes their site. We do not guarantee every price change will be detected or that listings remain available.
Acceptable use
You may only submit URLs from autotrader.ca or autohebdo.net that you have a legitimate interest in monitoring. Do not use Dropwatch to scrape or bulk-harvest listing data.
Refunds
If the service fails to activate after payment, contact us within 7 days for a refund. No refunds after a watch has been active for 7 days. Dealer subscriptions cancel at period end through Stripe; we do not prorate unused days after a watch has been active for 7 days.
Limitation of liability
Dropwatch is provided as-is. We are not liable for purchase decisions you make based on price alerts. We are not affiliated with AutoTrader.ca.
